Moment of glory.

Yesterday I’ve got an e-mail from my student’s mom, who lives in Alice Springs (yeah, that student whom I teach by Skype, I already wrote about him) and I cannot wait to share it:

***Ugo would like to say a big thank you to you for receiving his first place awards this for his Violin solo (one of his grade 3 exam pieces which he learnt with you) and violin duet in the Esteddfod. He also receive the same reward for his vocal solo. He is currently preparing for his dance performances today and tomorrow.***

There’s no more pleasant and soul warming news for teacher than one’s student have got first prize in competition.

Very, very proud of you, Ugo!

"I wanna be a producer of the big shows on Broadway!.." (c)

Not yet had time to die down previous musical, as next has already begun.

One of the best Mel Brooks musicals, “The Producers”, after 33 previews, the original Broadway production opened at the St. James Theatre on April 19, 2001,  and ran for 2,502 performances, winning a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards. Twelve, from 15 !! I think its more than cool.

"Go, go, go, Joseph!.." (c)

Just finished the musical “Joseph and Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, one of the earliest A.L. Webber’s musicals. Funny, joyful and sapiential story, which is beloved by people of all ages. And – as always – cool costumes and make-ups, cool staff, creative cast and  OOOORRCHESTRAAA. Here we are:
